By the tender age of 23, she and her husband, John, achieved great success with their own construction company. They went on to build many apartment buildings and develop Winchester Park, Majestic Oaks Subdivision, and Drexler Business Park.
True to her nature of always seeking new opportunities, Lydia opened her own real estate company. She later expanded further, adding property management services.
